In 2023 Smart-Ship installed its force-feedback Azimuth controls on board of two very special, fully electric ferries Gorichem XII and Altena VI from Riveer. The vessels are currently sailing between Gorinchem, Sleeuwijk, Hardinxveld, Werkendam and Woudrichem.

1. Install Haptic Controls
Installing the haptic controls to guide operators on safe & economic speeds and collect operational data.
2. Install data-logging tools
Installing the Smart-Ship HUB to gather operational data about the vessel, its operators and profile.
3. Analyze, report & implement
Combine data from the haptic controls and the HUB to implement additional functionalities and guidance in the controls based on data analysis.
