Chris Kornet, director of Concordia Damen, is pleased with the successful transport of a ship hull from China, which took 106 days and covered 12,260 nautical miles (22.666 km).  🌊

The hull was towed on a pontoon also built in China, which is now for sale. The two coasters, Waalvliet and Rijnvliet, will be completed by Holland Shipyards in the Netherlands, where they will be fitted with diesel-electric systems.

Smart-Ship, together with Holland Shipyards and the D&A Electric eProp system, will provide the two new vessels with our sustainable and innovative system. ⚡🌿

The first ship is expected to enter service early next year.
