🎉 Exciting News! 🎉

Last week marked a special occasion for our esteemed partner, Holland Shipyards Group, as they won the prestigious Schuttevaer Award 2024. We extend our heartfelt congratulations for their groundbreaking achievement in crafting lightweight electric aluminum ferries, specifically designed for Riveer.

Their innovative approach in building the two ferries, Gorinchem XII and Altena VI, tailored for Riveer’s specific navigation profile, has set a new benchmark in sustainable maritime engineering. By opting for aluminum, Holland Shipyards Group has remarkably reduced the weight to just 56 tons compared to the traditional steel ferries that weigh over 200 tons. This strategic choice not only decreases the ferries’ weight but also enables them to achieve impressive speeds of up to 26 kilometers per hour with less power requirement.

We are proud to have contributed to enhancing the safety of these vessels with our Azimuth levers. This collaboration underscores our commitment to advancing maritime safety and focus for sustainability through efficiency.

Join us in celebrating this significant milestone with Holland Shipyards Group. Their dedication to excellence and innovation continues to inspire and pave the way for a greener and more sustainable maritime future.
