Semi-finalist Philips Innovation Award
Smart-Ship is delighted to announce that they made it to the semi-finals in the category Innovators of the Philips Innovation Award. This semi-finals will take place on the 8th of April 2020 at the Schiecentrale in Rotterdam.
Smart-Ship's first investment
Smart-Ship is excited to announce its first investment. The investment concerns a convertible note and is coming from the InnovationQuarter fund called UNIIQ.
This investment enables Smart-Ship to grow their business and continue the advanced development of their range of high-end ship controls.
First successful tests @MARIN!
From the 13th of January until 24th of January Smart-Ship's prototype was installed in the MARIN FSSS motion based simulator, where performed tests and demonstrated the possibilities of our technology to an expert user group.
The first results look extremely promising and the involved expert user group was very positive!
For now we'll improve our product even more with the collected feedback; which is to be implemented and demonstrated in a 2nd round of tests later this year.
